Case Study: Travel & Trekking

Helping a Kathmandu trekking company stand out in a crowded Himalaya

Hundreds of agencies sell the same famous treks. We ran Trek Me Nepal's digital marketing end to end, from the structure of its website to the campaigns that brought international travellers to it.
The client

A Kathmandu trekking company with the whole Himalaya on its list

Trek Me Nepal is a trekking and tour operator based in Kathmandu, organising treks, peak climbs and tours across the Nepal Himalaya under the promise “Where Adventure Never Ends”.

Its trips cover the Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, Langtang and Mustang regions, peaks such as Island Peak and Mera Peak, and cultural tours, safaris, rafting and helicopter trips. Most of its travellers book from abroad, after weeks of online research.

The brief

Why Trek Me Nepal came to us

Nepal has hundreds of trekking agencies, and most of them sell the same famous routes. A newer company needed international travellers to find it, trust it and choose it over operators with far longer histories online.

A crowded market selling the same treks

Everest Base Camp and Annapurna are offered by hundreds of agencies and large international booking platforms. Trek Me Nepal needed a reason to be found and a reason to be chosen.

Dozens of trip pages to organise

With many packages across five regions, the website needed a structure that helped both travellers and search engines understand every trip.

Travellers research for weeks

International trekkers compare routes, seasons, difficulty and costs long before they contact anyone, so the company needed to be part of that research.

A new name needs trust

Travellers booking from abroad look for signs that an agency is real, established and reviewed by others.

Search, ads and social had to work together

Organic search, paid campaigns and social media each reach travellers at a different moment, and all of them needed to point to the same trips.
